Ms. Pratt was still at the very beginning phase of concept development when she reached out to me; she hadn't even written the pilot episode. She described the world, the characters, and the general plot. I used that information to guide my visual research. I compiled thousands of images and shared them with her via Adobe Lightroom. We reviewed the imagery together; some of the images sparked new character/plot ideas. As Ms. Pratt wrote, I developed the pitch deck. She used it during pitch meetings with HBO and other major studios.
